I have this monitor now already for half a year - unjustified and find the then purchase price of 170. Especially bother me in the colors remain stable the extreme Halos on the Bildschrimrändern and the very narrow viewing angles. Since now about 2 months, I have a problem with my HDMI connection. This report meiener graphics card (ASUS GTX 560Ti) only a native resolution of 1024 x 768 and themselves as 'non-PnP Monitor'. Against this error status as yet as it should be 'VE248H'. The problem now: The BIOS can not monitor display because do not want to register with the boot simply. The extremely annoying. I will contact the ASUS support soon and ask them for a solution. Otherwise, I'll let him change because I do not want another monitor as this here my design technically most suit you from all and I can even gamble very well on this monitor.
If the price falls below 150 - strong buy recommendation !!
EDIT: I added myself a HDMI to DVI adapter and operate the monitor now on DVI which works flawlessly!
