- Just about everything on board 2G (850,900,1800,1900MHz) 3G (850,900,1900,2100MHz) 4G (800/900/1800/2100 / 2600MHz)
- Requires a standard SIM (micro / nano only with adapter)
- Can accommodate micro-SD card. Content via USB or Wi-Fi accessible. I WLAN access but only
cumbersome managed via the Web interface, download the media on your mobile phone with approx 3MByte / s
- Changeable battery (. HB5F2H 3.7V, 1780 mAh, from 8.45 incl shipping on aliexpress), noticeably warm during use
- Battery lasted almost 5 hours in video streaming over LTE.
- Very informative display, the one (uA) SSID, password and address displays for the Wi-Fi access,
(The PIN of the SIM card and the Login Setup should, however, remember ...)
and total consumption, signal strength, network type (2/3 / 4G / WiFi), the number of connected devices, battery status ..
- Pin of the SIM card still saved even after (recently?) To remove the battery's, the setup for each time re-enter password.
- Total consumption indicator sums the data. Reset in the menu under "Statistics" / "Clear History"
- Operation via 2 buttons (Menu key + I / O button). Factory reset button inside the unit
- 2xAntenne connected, but so far not in use.
- WLAN ranges as indicated about 5 meters, and more, it has to work locations (traveling, hotel, ..) do not be. (I want more because not).
- Receiving over LTE is good and stable. (5h video streaming without any problems)
- Quick Setup did not work out, the 2 preset profiles were not working.
For switching between 2 SIM cards, the Quick Setup is however very well suited: choose own predefined profile, 2xNext and 1xFinish.
When searching for "APN Telekom" in Google, you will find, unfortunately, often the wrong ("internet.t-mobile").
A look here in the reviews but then gave me the right attitude ("internet.telekom")
The setting is very simple in principle, but you have to bring a certain knowledge.
The WLAN configure at McDonalds is certainly a lot easier. (And also because some fail)
- From pressing the power button until the (automatic) switchover my smartphone LTE to WLAN, it takes 45 seconds
Fast boot option goes 5-10 seconds faster
- Android App "Huawei HiLink" one does not really ....
Conclusion: Great part. When the (high-speed) data volume of Flat Treaty after 2-3 weeks are gone, I almost always going to travel anyway.
Have graced me few hours, more than 100 to spend on the 4G variant, but no regrets.
A few times experienced that there is no more 3G. Either 2G or equal to LTE (cities times excluded)
In order to do then (transitional) and 3G mobile phone's ready for LTE.
