A baroque flute or worse baroqueuse no! but alert, fast, jumpy, too heartbreaking to some point. this record is the result of several public performances, it means, there is a life, a emergency, a theatricality so becoming at work and rarely heard. Technically, it is the most beautiful version, the orchestra has a scale and a natural merging across the spectrum (ah the sound of the glockenspiel, crystallized !!!). The voices are well proportioned on the sound stage and is never stifled by the pit! Overjoyed but we often used to Gardiner, the second CD ends with two slightly different times, the opportunity to hear again one of the most beautiful moments of the work and this interpretation: "Ach, Ich Fuhl's" by the sorry Pamina. The booklet is full, very interesting, all joiment packaged!
