I had far Bose Companion 2, after listening I fell for these Companion 20 (compared with Rock, Jazz and Classic) the difference in quality is evident as soon the first musical notes and the price difference amply justified My conclusions, better definition of the spectrum, better balance between the bass, midrange and treble sound seems less aggressive (screaming) that companion2 But above all sound quality comparable in fidelity sound reproduction for Hifi chains And more power that lets you listen to music throughout the room without the sound distorts Best of all you can plug an external drive (I have the Cowon J3) and Bose headphones AE2i In one word PERFECT (for me)
