Yoga Dipika is the reference "absolute" asanas. These are shown in their perfection. In my practice, I come back from time to time with illustrations (and explanations) and thus have the ideal example to what do I owe tender. Iyengar has written other books that explain his "method" for beginners: Illustrations by step, using accessories to integrate gradually postures, presentation of the essential postures, simple and clear program for all levels (BKS Iyengar, The Path to Holistic [...] Unfortunately for us ca only in English. Yoga Dipika is not a method for beginners and even has to be shown and taught by a qualified teacher for more advanced practitioners. It So this is the bible of asanas and in this the most comprehensive out there. Hey ca exist in paperback ...... 8 euros. For those who want to discover this living god of yoga, I recommend reading Iyengar himself: "The path to inner peace: Travel to the fullness and light" and most advanced "of the Yoga Tree" and even more fans these comments on yoga sutras of Patanjali .... And finally not forgetting the absolute reference for Pranayama: Pranayama Dipika (same comments for Yoga Dipika) but here we committed to another dimension, spiritual and infinitely subtle ....
