-CPU QuadCore
Display betw. 4.5 and 5 inches
-min. 16 GB of internal memory
-erweiterbarer SD memory (a cell phone without SD slot is not acceptable for me).
-möglichst replaceable battery
Camera with low shutter lag for acceptable snapshots, for everything else I take the DSLR
-Android 4.4
-max. 230
Since the mobile phone otherwise largely corresponds to the S3, I'll be at the pros disadvantages compared with this model:
+ 1.5GB RAM, it always about 600-700MB free (at S3 Serial Rome is not much free memory)
+ So Kitkat 4.4
+ CPU somewhat faster
+ Absolutely smooth in operation, games run well (Dead Trigger to detail means easily playable)
- Stream no AllShare, which means you can no longer means MHL adapter the contents of the S3 Neo Screens on as a TV
- Temperature sensor has been saved (not really need)
- Modding (currently) not really possible, no root in current firmware (I9301IXXUANF4) possible only via downgrade
Custom Roms from "normal" S3 not go
Overall a great successor to the highly successful S3, unfortunately, in some respects somewhat curtailed. Who does not bother who gets a phone with great performance, which certainly can also be a year from now are selling well used, considering the current prices of the used S3.
I really considered all comparable phones / producers, mostly it fails already at No SD slot. With 16GB of internal storage, 10GB of which still are free, I can not do anything that's enough grade times for the MP3s.
05/02/2015 Supplement / Summary
After 5 months of use I switched to S5, collectively, to S3 Neo:
-Mobile Remained not even crashed or hang at this time, very stable in operation, which is not always a matter of course
-Battery Life my feeling very good, with moderate use of 2 nights duration inside smoothly, not decreasing performance after 5 months use, (must generate Wakelocks on apps but everyone always even watch) overnight just 1% battery loss
-despite many apps the phone ran smoothly until the end
Camera makes good pictures in direct comparison to the "old" S3 no difference visible
Navigation via GPS reliable
Speaker during a call to sound a bit scratchy, but the S5 no better
The Neo has earned a clear recommendation, in everyday normal user operation provides me the S5 even more.
