Positives:
+ The crane is insanely portable! So light and so small I had it really did not expect themselves.
+ The panning run extremely light and soft, even with a DSLR with heavier lens.
+ The supplied sandbag is well made, ranging from the size exactly as a counterweight.
+ Transport bag is
Negatives:
- At full load (DSLR, fully extended) swings the crane to very noticeably.
- The turning radius is not huge. For interior shots certainly okay, but for the impressive outdoor swing would have to look around for a longer model.
Neutral, for info:
* Although the crane is very easy, you need a really sturdy tripod for such forces. I ordered the cheapest to the page I've found (Ravelli AVTP) and is also sufficient. If it should be light and transportable, then you can use a tripod without a tripod head still working (that is, you can not during panning the camera tilt), but I would in the case did not go far from the crane and leave my camera on it ,
* The camera can only be mounted flat. While you can tilt the crane, for a real recording straight down as you have but similar an additional ball head mount.
Overall, you can not complain for the price really. I've also bought a little more stable and longer cranes for greater effect, however, is the correspondingly heavier and less portable. The chance that I can not think of this as a precaution einpacke and then got here is much greater. And the most stable and largest crane helps a nothing, if he is in the shed at home.
