The Philips Sonicare was then the only ever available sonic toothbrush in Europe and was initially driven partly exclusively through pharmacies and dentists.
The compared fairly high cost have absolutely worth it. The cleaning power and the strength were sensational. The battery lasted at least one week, the toothbrush has over 8 years uncomplainingly doing its job, much longer than I would have expected ... (Because batteries are just some point but then run out.)
Although gathered in the large chamber under the head occasionally deposits that had to be removed quite a chore, and the unit has been compared quite large, which were also the only drawbacks.
But everything was very solid and durable constructed and occasional fall down and moisture survived the device without consequences.

In short, with the unit I was SUUUPER satisfied as with almost any other electrical device ever. At Philips name I already got glowing eyes .... Of Companies can but only dream, right?

What could be more than the device to be recommended, and more Philips to buy Sonicare for the family, for example, for the wife? In the summer / autumn of 2010 was the old handset then finally "mature", and as the price for a set with 2 handpiece and UV-cleaning station was marginally more expensive than a single machine, we managed the HX6932 / 34th A brush head I kept themselves, another brush head went a few months later, together with smaller charging station to my mother.

And the end of the story is:
Even before the warranty period expires BOTH Hanteile are now independently defective, the first by less than 1.5 years, the second (with my mother) after less than a year. With the same mistake: From one day to the devices begin suddenly to activate itself, and indeed again and again. (Very great if this happens at 3 clock at night). After about a day, the battery is then quite flat, and the nightmare is over (if you have not already carved with a hammer on it). Then the device then not even invites, the once it is in the charging station, and is only minimally loaded, the tumult before we go again. Only with a lot of patience, or by opening the device (STOP, if you still want to use the warranty), you get the brush now at all back up and running. Here in the reviews we read often of exactly the same error ...
