Based on the positive reviews I've ordered this lens, but I must say that I was sadly disappointed.
The picture quality is indeed comparable to a very high level and with the Nikon 105mm. Unfortunately, there are some points that have disappointed me.
The autofocus is compared to Niko lens spührbar slower, of course, this is negligible in macros, but since you can use for portraits and many other images, the focal length also super, this factor already plays an important role for me.
Another point for me and the most negative is the iris. This is me given f / 2.8, but only if focused at infinity !! Once you focus ring only slightly turns towards proximity focusing closes the shutter! This effect is unfortunately so extreme that you yourself no longer aperture when focusing on about 20m distance f / 2.8 available.
At the Naheinstellgranze (1: 1) Aperture f / 5.6 aperture and thus 2 all that remains is fainter than specified.
This effect does occur in other macro lenses on, but not as extreme.
Another negative point was with me that the focus ring had an easy time back and forth. Say you could easily slide the focus ring to the camera or forward to sun visor. It was probably not even 1mm, but at this price I expect a high-quality lens without such quirks.
Although this lens is still a lot cheaper than the more expensive lenses from Nikon and Canon, I expect nevertheless a good workmanship.
Unfortunately, no quiver was included, what else is the case with much cheaper lenses.
Due to the negative points I have returned this lens again and I ordered the Nikon 105mm macro lens with which I am completely satisfied. From the processing there is a noticeable difference. The high quality was worth the extra cost.
