Great Mic for beginners who are looking to get into home recording on a budget. So to give you some info about it - this is the mic without any slot for batteries - there are BM800 mics out there Which require a AAA battery to function - this one DOES NOT.

So, If you're going to use the bundled cable with it, the XLR to 3.5mm jack, the volume is gonna be really quiet, if you plug it into a mic port on your laptop or desktop computer.

If you use on XLR to XLR cable and plug it into a mixer with phantom power, you're gonna get the best quality with it. So I do recommend That You'll get to XLR male to XLR female cable for this microphone and get a mixer with phantom power like the Behringer Xenxy 302 or 502 or higher.

Great quality mic for a cheap price.
