Processing:
Very effective is (without shell) well in the hand and the physical buttons have a good tactile feedback and are placed useful.
Display:
Somewhat poorer resolution than eg iPad, does in practice but rarely noticeable and ensures longer battery life - in my eyes as more of a selling point. The pity is that the touch screen does not come up to the quality of an iPad - one so sometimes two or even more often to press, though not often.
Processor:
Runs great. Dashing Tablet in (so far) any situation - movies, presentations & animations as well as demanding games run properly. Degrees compared to my netbook before a dream in terms of performance. Small disadvantage: The processor is well-built right in the housing. Namely, since it gets to the time like to really warm up decently hot. Links bleibts contrast cool. If the manual and general opinion is even good for the hardware ... where it lt. Normal and ok then.
Software:
Runs. The pity is that there are not many "right" Android apps for tablets, so that one finds often idiosyncratic representations or incompatibilities. Even if the device for the first moment can not. The operating system works known stable (but?) Within the first month usage actually crashed 2 times. I think that is acceptable, especially if software updates follow.
Battery:
I could repeat the first words from the processor or the software. ;-) The acclaimed performance of the A510 battery is already really ne good thing. Unless you gambles GOF2 n half a day, then verzeilicherweise is the end ... In standby at off-Fi, it eats practically almost no electricity. Disabled within 24 hours of standby power guzzlers with all it has used for testing purposes 1%. Certainly not a value that can be extrapolated 1 to 1, but a very nice trend.
Biggest drawback: Incomprehensible product policy of Acer. Will say: The Tab invites -nur- with the included AC adapter. I know that is everywhere. And I knew it before buying. And the processing of this power supply is quite good. But the sense not open up to me still. Also via the USB interface is the tab with a USB-B plug can not be loaded, hard or hardly and expensive to get a replacement power supply or secondary power adapter - actually a KO criterion by which kept Acer also many of my colleagues as customers away has. Not me. But it does annoy me.
Connections:
Micro-SD is really cool. The HDMI you get then television, screens or projectors up and running, such as private business so fully usable (an "Office" equivalent is preinstalled).
Conclusion:
If you're not Apple disciples and objectively compares all tabs, you should probably tend to the manufacturer, from which you have a smartphone - because of Sync Apps & ...
The A510 is in terms of price / performance currently unbeatable, albeit with slight (some "intentional") weaknesses such as power supply or not quite perfect touch.
Slightly restricted but quite satisfied buy recommendation.
PS: More Accessories (larger shell selection, useful display films, functioning input pins, good Bluetooth keyboards with touchpad (automotive) power supplies) would be a dream, but it is currently looking relatively vain.
