Packing:
The LED flashlight comes in a user-friendly cardboard packaging. This can be easier to get inside without aids. It comes with the flashlight and a hand strap. Batteries and instructions are not included.
Note:
The wrist strap is tied together with a rubber band type. Only later I realized that this is a spare rubber band rubber ring for the lamp thread. How do I find this is a great idea on the part of the manufacturer. If the rubber ring time break, the spare is equal to it. Toll!
Processing:
The LED flashlight looks visually very high and noble. The black metal body fits comfortably in the hand and feels pleasantly. The finish is clean and absolutely error-free; at the housing there are no sharp edges or corners. The massive construction also brings some weight; without batteries weighs 348g the lamp. The case makes a very stable and robust. A fall will be able to withstand this lamp without any problems. The thread is smooth; A rubber ring protects the lamp against moisture.
Private:
The torch is operated with only one button, there are 5 different modes:
Weak Medium light
Button for 3 seconds press -.> Strobe ---- 3 sec again press> SOS flashing.
The simultaneous use of 3 LEDs, the luminous intensity is particularly strong, the name of the manufacturer (3000 lm) I can not check, however.
Battery:
Needed four lithium batteries 18650 with each 3.7 volts. These are not included and must be purchased separately.
The advantages of the 3.7 volt batteries are partly due to the significantly higher voltage and secondly to the high capacity of up to 4000mAh. A disadvantage is the relatively high purchase price for these batteries.
Normal AA batteries are far removed from these values. For this reason, more and more flashlight manufacturers rely on the lithium 3.7 volts battery.
Power consumption:
With a meter, I measured the power consumption; these values can be determined depending on the used batteries, the lighting time.
- Weak luminosity -> 330 mA at 3.7 volts
- Average brilliance -> about 1330 mA at 3.7 volts
- High luminosity -> about 2420 mA at 3.7 volts
I am very pleased with this high quality LED flashlight.
