as if Samsung asked me what I want :)

Since I use a computer mainly for office and internet (only now and then a little game) was my decision on an Ultrabook. But which one?
thin, light, quiet, perfectly finished it should be and the display should be fun

after extensive internet research, my choice was limited to the Series 9, Zenbok Prime, Acer S7 and the Macbook Air.

Why are the other resigned? (Only the decisive for me Deteil mention .. There are really only Deteil so bleating at the highest level.)

Acer S7
In natura my display too much reflected. The Samsung Ultra Touch I have excluded video from selbigem reason after the view from Youtube. I look forward frankly on a matte or a little reflective touch Ultrbook but as the current touch Ultrabooks reflect me personally just too much ..

Zenbook Prime
the display I find all in all a little better when symbols and font sizes would better suit the Zenbook.
The colors come through the reflective display something better advantage, the high resolution of fun (unfortunately: Windows will display all fonts and icons too small - you can this indeed on 150% zoom - but they are really just enlarged so they appear out of focus , but the display can not like anything, but you have to live with it and it affects more areas still thought of as one).
However, the Zenbook is processed well or less well in direct comparison. I only noticed it when I got the two nebeneinande placed directly in the business. On closer inspection, I find the difference but relatively large. That 900x3c acts absolutely exactly how from a single source such as the Macbook Air. I can understand if you do not see the difference but the same for me has the 900x3c therefore clearly won the race. The Zenbook affects me rather thrown together and not very timeless. But can taste so all his best both in natura. Subsequently, I would add: Yesterday I looked at the Zenbook again. It works now for me as a different league. Also good, but the finishing touch is missing.

Macbook Air
only briefly mentioned for all also indecisive: Unfortunately, I'm not coped with a borrowed Macbook and have decided micht Windows to remain faithful. Ausporbieren is doing here really make sense. Otherwise you do with the Macbook certainly nothing wrong.

Now generally on the advantages and disadvantages of Samsung 900x3c:

When surfing or when you edit Office documents, the notebook remains cool in the heat and the fan does not come on. But if I play for example Diablo3 turn soon full.
Once you forward the Samsung lifting something or it sounds from behind hums already strong. If you sit in front of the notebook, however, very little is heard. This is what the Ingineure hammer out good! However, the 900x3c is then also very warm.
Addendum: After you provide in the Power Options to full power the fans run but now constantly. Not loud but unfortunately you could tell that they are there. In Balanced mode or EnergieSpaarSystemen mode they do not even go to when I start a more complex game otherwise. (You can thank God switch with a key between modes)
When opening documents and apps or programs setting in the Power Options you realize quite strong!
For example TunesIn Radio is finished loading sec at full power in 2-3 and in Balanced mode in approximately 5 sec .. even if you use the same settings for both sets in the Control Panel (there'sa probably even more bent behind ..)

The display is easy to read from all angles. The viewing angle stability is amazing!
The 15-incher have a TN panel instead of the built-up here IPS and are therefore not as stable viewing angle means you have to sit in front of it exactly. The colors are also better at the 13-incher. Have both tested side by side and do not use them only for the display to 15-inch .. (although it is a very good TN display, but it is not IPS)

The touchpad does imo almost as good as that of MacBooks. However, the click is loud and therefore something unpleasant. A better touchpad but I have not seen other than the Macbook. The surface of the touchpad schauht something roughened, but is smooth as glass and you glide significantly lighter than the MacBook about. (Deteil in comments)

The 900x3c provides up to 4 years free warranty (unfortunately I think only for Austrians, please view precisely in advance or support anschrieben if you ordered from D)! Simply buying on Samsung's website and register you get at the end of the promotion the warranty extension. But I think a limited time! So Hurry. Link:

So that not both USB3 has advantages and disadvantages. For current easy spaaren everything stuck to the right USB 2.
Totaly I would have but would prefer 2 USB3 ..

Battery power lasts for about 4-5 hours of normal use. Only undemanding surfing without videos actually goes as indicated almost 7h at peak performance up to 5% is at half automatic display brightness. (More than 70% automatic display brightness is probably no use except outdoors) The battery is firmly installed.

The sound of the speakers is surprisingly (for laptops) very good! Way better than my old back then just as expensive laptop.
Sounds vl. Weird but you have if you really sitting in front of it often feel as if the speaker is not in front of a but further to the left and right of the laptop.

Ram is soldered, not upgradeable.

The SSD can however be changed. But it loses the guarantee! EVT. you can install the old SSD products under warranty back?

Processing: IMO following the Macbook the best that I could see. Incredibly thin and acts designed very consistent.
Had the (not much but something visible) Fingerpatzer would not it imo the only Windows notebook with the Macbook visually par.

The keyboard is very good. (The key travel is slightly lower as the Macbook otherwise there is nothing to complain about)
Keypad illumination is solved on Samsung very good. There shine here almost only the letters on the keys. Not very bright, but bright enough in every situation.

Folding back the display goes with one hand. The display also do not wobble in a shock! If you look around the business you quickly realize that this is not at all self-evident and might interfere with the daily work on the laptop very much. When Zadelka magnets keep the display on the ground.

Enclosed in the package is quite noble and high-quality black leatherette bag. It is a bit thin, but good protection against scratches.

Fingerpatzer are unfortunately somewhat visible but wiped off with his hand. The keys look soon to light from a little greasy though I have dry hands. Too bad. The best view in the business if you can live with it. Is not very bad but can be annoying. And it annoys me .. too :)
However, because the rest is so perfect I am very happy with my decision.

Subsequently I look forward every day more than the absolute matte display and will definitely put in the future more emphasis. Especially if you have previously as I had a glossy one notices the difference in almost every walk of life. If I had not thought of before!
