Had to choose a new oral care center me after 8 years. On my old Braun the hose had become brittle and torn to handle plain and simple. Up to this day has Diess part works perfectly. Every few years time with diluted Zitronensäuere flushed (have very hard water) and the full pressure was back. Now for the new Center 500: appearance has changed only slightly (now in blue). Practical: The old wall bracket was perfect (thanks to lazy designers). If you start with Munduschen, please (possible 6 levels) start with step 3, otherwise there's bleeding gums. The unit makes a solid Eindruck.- However me the hose to the hand part appears slightly shorter than its predecessor (not measured it). Tip: My first "BROWN" I have "snatched" in 2 years because I have added to the water tank mouthwash. It is not explicitly in the manual, but let the stay! One more piece of advice: If the pump has built up pressure, it is difficult to operate the slide switch on the handle. - Easy moving slide switch forward, stuck spray nozzle into the mouth and then the power switch to turn on the station. So bleit clean also the mirror. I highly recommend this oral care center so far absolutely Recommend (of course I do not know how long it holds).
