I have as Versgeichsprodukte in similar price range already in use: Pelikan M200 (excellent, though a little too light and small in the long run) and Lamy Sudio (also recommended, somehow I still felt uncomfortable enough with the pen)
Here's my experience after the first days of use.
Positives:
- Well balanced with a pleasant weight
- Probably slim enough for smaller hands, still long and grippy enough for bigger as mine.
- To act without showy elegant appearance (of course, always a matter of taste)
- For a Stahfeder soft and good sliding across the paper
Negatives:
- When unpacking I noticed a clacking on with movement of the pin. The sound comes from the converter in which a ball moves freely. Unfortunately, the noise occurs also striking on when only partially befühltem converter.
- From time to time (rarely) slight misfire in ink flow, even with partially befühltem Konvrter. I know that from my comparison pins not to this extent.
- Blue fingers: even with slight vibration seems to spill inside the cap of the filler. As a result, we see greater inkblots on the spring (rarely also in the grip area of the fingers) and after plugged cap blue streaks on the stem. Such Gekleckse I do not know from my other pens in this scope. I also made a direct comparison tests with similar vibrations. Not enough to start from a production error to be able to be able to work too much pleasant to it. Since the cap is plugged, me is the Risk that the cap such as triggers in your breast pocket too large, because the said blobs likely to leave quite a "mess". Incidentally, this is not self-evident. My M200 is me risen 2 times in the Burustasche (my fault - carelessly screwed) without leaving any noticeable stains.
Conclusion:
When "Always with you" pin at least for me a complete failure purchase. Vibration-always on the desk lying certainly a good fountain pen with an attractive appearance and good feel in the middle price range.
