Unfortunately, the description of this joint marker is extremely poor. It can be found only the following particulars:
"Highly opaque. (Color :) silver gray. For color mending and brightening joints eg in kitchen and bathroom. Stard opaque, water- and smudge-resistant, light and abrasion-resistant, quick drying, low odor. Targeted and clean application to use without preparation . "
This information I can confirm though. However, the manufacturers assume that anyone who accesses this pen, you already had experiences with (other) Edding- pins or similar has made. So definitely you have to first before using the pen shake (ball audible!). Then you have to carefully press down the pen tip, so that a certain mechanism can be triggered in the pen, so that the color lags in the tip. Then you can "paint" start. Ebbs the color, repeat the above process.
Especially missing here but information "BATCH" / "reach" of the pen. This is in fact - even considering the price (my I bought for 3.99 euros in special (regular price: EUR 4.99)) - not exactly economical. Although my bathroom is already very small; - From about 8 m² tiles but I could cover it with 1 pin amount just about 2 m² tile joints. - With such a small "range" I did not expect.
I once jokingly sawed the pin, only to discover that there is not very much in it wirklch. Outwardly like a pen so that look impressive; However, the plastic casing is extremely thick. - I assume the company even know she has not done without intention to give the impression that there is a lot of content in such a pen. - Pursues the same sense probably also the fact that here any quantities missing, or about the "reach" of such a pin not been made.
So I'm going to have to buy more some other pins that color me to nachmalen the remaining spaces between the tiles on the wall of my bathroom still can. - So then seen but not particularly inexpensive delight.
Nevertheless, of course, good that a pen is so ever.
