That said, I quickly tempered my enthusiasm for several reasons:
- Plancha is quite small (compared to its nomadic side), which means that it goes for our family of 4, including 2 young children not very adventurous in the kitchen (!!) but for a family of 4 "real" eaters , take turn or make a small amount each and repeat the process several times. It's not dramatic but it loses in fun anyway.
- She smokes: again, this is not surprising, but it's pretty unpleasant and impressive. The smells are of course also there.
- One spatula - it's a shame not to have another issue of practicality, yet
- The wire is very short
In short, it is interesting if one is anti barbecue (in our case), but we still want the seized food, and fun to eat that way. By cons, this plancha will be devoted to our summer / sunny days, and we will use it only outside.
So I think this is a cool gadget, well thought but which could easily happen.
