In short, in order not to annoy me about this thing:
Worth absolutely nothing! The first chemical smell I know of other silicone products. But the usually disappears completely after hot frying. So how should new clothes and wash first times before wearing them.
Since the Macarons dough was ready I immediately test times distributed a number when frying on the silicone. The recipe comes from my grandmother and this has very often tasted all of us.
Positive compared with the baking paper: the shape is very well kept! You really get very nice round Macarons so.
That's but even with the good news ... even after 3 times will bake the smell remained and the macarons stick still and tear during Removal. This is very annoying to bake at this very elaborate way. Eating I'd like some nice and they are in no way, no matter.
My conclusion: Again, as so often in life: who buys cheap, buys twice! Silicone molds in the kitchen are absolutely great! Very easy to clean and resistant, but you must pay attention to quality! Luckily it was a gift :-)
