The fan of my old laptop is beyond repair despite all attempts. But my husband wanted to use for a few more games like it, so we came up with buying this cooler. We know that there can not be a substitute, but for the time my husband used the laptop, the unit will cool him easily and we can use the laptop yet.
The cooler is very quiet and interfere in any way. With the laptop together, it looks like one unit.
