My general requirements for the device:
- Android as an operating system (because I have acquired through the use of mobile phones for many apps and want to take this even further)
- Quad-core CPU and large memory
- Long battery life
- SD card slot
- USB host (ie the possibility to connect a USB flash drive with an adapter)
- Full HD Display
- Good quality / good feel
- Something special that is not 0815

Long before I had toyed with the previous model, which had but kept me from buying, was the (outdated for me) not Full HD display.
But yes, the new device has come onto the market, putting even more improvements next to said Full HD display. For example, a newer CPU and more memory has been installed.
So I bought two weeks ago the tablet here at Amazon.
I am very, very satisfied with the device.
My above expectations were all filled and partially even exceeded.
Processing:
The workmanship is very good, the feel excellent and the rather unusual shape (rounding) is a real highlight. By rounding said we can grow the tablet excellent in portrait orientation, regardless of whether the right or left hand. And the way it store it and to force a slight angle so that is a great idea. The fold-out stand has earned me a nomination for the Red Dot Award! Absolutely brilliant! So you can stand the tablet perfectly so as movies. When combined with the keyboard is sold separately from the device an excellent alternative to the laptop. Granted, you have to get used to something on the keyboard, but it's really fun.
Another advantage of the keyboard: It serves as a screen protector that has the device, unfortunately, really more than necessary (one of the few sticking points but more on that later).
The entire device is thanks to the exceptional construction concept and processing a real eye-catcher. A good friend and apple pad users was so convinced that he is not now again buy an apple, but just this tablet.
Power:
The performance is more than adequate for my purposes. I was not going to gamble on this tablet. But curious as I am, I've tried it with some racing games. To date, all ran without stuttering even the games that have a really good resolution.
However, primary interest is another: I really want to access via Wi-Fi on my satellite receiver so from this one live stream (I use the VU + Duo²).
This was a challenge indeed! But it is only limited to the device, rather the used apps. The original VU + App for example can not be used without any lag when the app internal media player is used! After nearly infinite Try with numerous streaming and video apps / combinations of these I found a nearly 100% secure way. I take due VU + app to access the receiver and select the Media Player free BS Player. It is important in this case that is stored in this, that he uses the hardware decoder for decoding HD video !!!!!! Then you can enjoy carefree on the balcony and in the garden the World Cup and films (eg Sky) in HD.
Movies that are stored on the NAS or on the SD card but easily reproduced by almost all video apps. So if you want to access only store and play video, you need to absolutely not have to worry whether the by Lenovo is possible.
Topic-Fi:
Unfortunately, the built-in technology seems to be not quite as fast as in other devices. In tests with to copy large files, the tablet requires about 15% more time than, say, my Sony Xperia Z mobile (and that's not always the fastest).
But: For normal access to the Internet and also to files in the same network (eg on my NAS) it is absolutely fast enough.
Topic Memory Expansion: For me one of the most important criteria! I look like to a HD movie on your tablet and so therefore also need the opportunity with little effort these video files to provide my tablet available. Currently I have an SD card in use 64GB-, this is accepted without any problems. Also all my USB sticks were recognized thanks to a separately available adapter without a murmur.
Battery life:
Well, that's something every day really makes me wonder ;-)
Due to the rounding Lenovo has created space for a truly outstanding battery!
Even after hours of film shows and race driving and experiments (Apps Install, uninstall) the battery must not be loaded. After two days I invite then (as a precaution) again, although still min. 20% are available! Really, this battery has no equal!
Display:
The display is sharp and mE provided with very good contrast values. The viewing angle is quite sufficient and even in sunlight can be seen enough. Only the strong reflection disturbs something. A clear disadvantage is the very sensitive glass. Even though I'm really handled very carefully with the Tab, I have a small scar on the display glass! This must not happen! OK, fortunately this is very small and a protective film, will arrive tomorrow ;-)
Camera:
Do you need the absolutely in a tablet? I mean no, and who nevertheless considered important will be disappointed by the main camera not quite on the contrary! I was astonished by the really good quality of images!
Lenovo's own launcher: That's so I think a matter of taste! I think he's very good. I've always been working with folders in which I then systematically laying the apps and thus need no second surface. Am I also lived example of Huawei mobile phones that have a similar type of launcher. Those who can not live with it / want: In the store, there are many good apps that make up for the shortcoming again As I said: Who needs it!
Lenovo's Apps: There are some good apps installed system and the idea with the Multiscreen is also very good!
Additionally available Keyboard: In my eyes, this is worth every penny and for me a musthave. It is simultaneously a cover. After a short acclimatization they rewarded a category with extra comfort. To write long texts makes so fun, and the screen is not dirty with so many fingerprints ;-)
Sound / Boxing:
Again, I am amazed. One must, of course with a Tablet not expect too much, because - due to design - virtually no sound is present.
Nevertheless, Lenovo manages to convince here. The sound is perfectly acceptable, thanks to "Virtual Dolby" has my films at even a small spatial effect.

Finally now my conclusion:
I do not regret the purchase to date; the performance, quality, design, and especially the battery are absolutely top. The only real complaint I have is that for sensitive display.
The 349,00 euros are mE absolutely justified and another 50 euros for the keyboard a sensible investment.
