An exchangeable against the standard cover earplugs with rubber strap holds on in the earpiece that allows to align the headset precisely in the ear canal; the plugged as supplied cover is rather worked as an open speaker. The plastic clip on the ear is very stubborn and problematic when equipped with only one hand, things were going with two hands, but this is difficult to accomplish for example during a car ride. In addition, the clip begins with not hundred percent fit on the ear rather quickly to pinch because of the pressure on the ear is very high. Alone with the plug holding the device is not reliable in / on the ear.
A novelty for me is the coupling via NFC. If you have on your smartphone (in my case a Galaxy S3) NFC enabled, you only have to switch on and off slide switch on the headset must press briefly in the right direction, and then hold the headset to the back of the phone, already the coupling is completed. The connection is of course still set up via Bluetooth and not through NFC. This feature is impressive, but then again unnecessary, be it because you want every day to use the headset to another phone, which is probably rarely be the case.
In addition to the inputs and outputs or NFC coupling switch, there is only one button on the opposite side, with which you end a call or can initiate (eg by dialing through voice dialing). With its own volume control does not have the headset. Also the control of Audi programs via the button does not work (at least for me); a pause / play function would have done well here.
The voice quality for the opposite is consistantly good. One comes across loud and clear, and not too noisy. Playback quality on the ear, however, is very highly variable. The inventor of the Discworld Terry Pratchett has designated the language of goblins as a sound, as if pebbles speak. And finally I know how that sounds. Thanks to this headset! Because between moments where the sound is really good and transferred almost crystal clear, it happens to me often overlays that really sound like pebbles; the other person is then just as understandable.
But I'm assuming that this is an isolated incident, maybe in my special combination with the telephone or other circumstances.
I prefer a star from the stubborn and the ear-clamping plastic strap.
Addendum:
In my version of the device, the voice acting is definitely English. This may be due to the early test position by Amazon and not flow in my vote with a.
