Jean-Pierre is a man of 67 years. Widowed for many years, without children or dog or cat. Retired layant of a business held a large part of his life outside France away from home. Surly and misanthropic, he lies on a bed dhôpital, crumb: he has just been miraculously rescued from the Seine where he had fallen mysteriously. The alarm clock is comatose: he does not understand what he's doing there. The young police inspector denquêter on his mishap brings him the first elements: a driver who fled the donated on a bridge over the river; the shock projected in the water from where a young man who prostituted herself out there immediately. Slang phrasing, rhythm removed through sentences, paragraphs and short chapters. Relevant remarks, abundant dialogues, tasty, crispy and often funny, sometimes biting.
