The comparison with Tyris Fratyr, sagas or Rekreatur:
o It's more varied than Rekreatur,
o There is less pure hardness as sagas,
o the rough Tyris Fratyr it is farthest away
The mood on the album and the song selection:
o The variety of song types has increased, cheerful and gloomy songs alternate,
o There is self-less, the songs do not follow a uniform basic tenor.
For example, the lyrics have changed:
o They are multifaceted, partly critical, partly omitted cheerful.
o Overall, but also poetically less sophisticated
As the songs have changed:
o greater bandwidth in Growling, it is sometimes very deep
o many need to hear it often until it understands
o From time to time clean vocals by Rene, mostly in the choruses
So sound the verses and choruses:
o load often choruses to sing along, but less convoluted and less demanding
o Overall, it does not sound consistently "evil" as on the previous albums, there are also some passages almost carefree
Musical innovations:
o guitar riffs are all chosen with care, so always different and fresh
o Surprising Neo-Classical influences
o Skillful transitions between the parts in the songs, in small batches even progressive
Especially great I find on the album that you can choose in which way you song now at the moment feels like. But you could be put in a deep emotional state at the previous albums from start to finish.
I think both are okay ;-)
