At first I was just disappointed, no flapping trouser legs, only just a very clean, precise and dry bass. I then found out quickly that it is heavily dependent on the song. Mega Bass's really only when the song was recorded with Mega Bass.
Who needs more bass (all songs), now has several options:
A: It is allowed to all settings as they are. By default, at the sub, the equalizer neutral and "loudness" (increasing the bass and treble) is on. Actually enough. The true connoisseurs on the "loudness" of even, to hear as linear as possible.
B: high level of Subs. Then there's in every song to strong bass.
C: Boost the bass on the equalizer, however, as well as the low frequencies to the other speakers are more that do not want to necessarily.
Hab arranges me with solution A and am very happy now. My old system of devil (has done a good long services to me and offers good sound for very little money) has just added a lot of bass in every song, whether it was Jason Derulo or ZZ Top. Now there's at Wiggle, wiggle NEN very strong bass and old ZZ Top songs very subtle bass.
The optics of the subs I really like. Sure, the paint finish attracts fingerprints, but who betouched already permanently its Sub? Sonos also sets a Mikrofastertuch at, perfect!
Who wants to put him down, stuck off the supplied Gummiepuffer, there is even a "template" Here, so that things can be easily placed.
Conclusion: There is in this price range certainly Subs who are stronger. Whether they sound better (much) I doubt it, the Sonos Sub does sound really good.
On top but there's still a multiroom system with children easier control and absolutely sufficient power.
Who else switched on 10,000 Burmester systems, which is here certainly not happy, but I think that the Sonos system would so surprise in a blanking compared with ner much more expensive system some "experts". (And yes, I've been really expensive plant belongs!).
