I was looking for a night light that comes on when it is dark by itself. It should also be an LED light because it saves electricity and no bulbs must be changed. The NL-4 from Ansmann meets these requirements. I have measured only 0.2 watts in operation, during the day the consumption was even lower, so my meter has shown nothing. The LED will turn on when it is dark and not even at the onset of twilight or even in the shade. The entire egg-shaped lamp is uniform, ie there are no new point-like LEDs. The light is white with a bluish Tedenz for. So very different than halogen or incandescent bulbs, but still very comfortable - almost moody. The brightness is completely sufficient to the extent illuminate a hallway or a room that you can find their way. In addition, the lamp is comparatively decorative.
Negative is my only noticed that the brightness is gradually switched rather than simply on or off. That in itself is not a problem, but because the sensor also detected the light from the LED, the brightness remains slightly below the maximum. Can you check that by covering the sensor by hand. The LED lights up even brighter. The difference in brightness is but minimal and the LED also so bright enough. I would buy again and recommend.
