I wanted a machine to enjoy the BR player of the PS3 on my TV in addition to my PC screen. I tested first with a switcher, did not work here. So I was advised a splitter.

Perfect! 3 hdmi cables necessary, PS3 connected to the input box. And the two output screens 1 and 2. Selection of HDMI channel on the TV and voila! PS3 on the PC in addition to the TV screen! Magic!
