A classic of American literature

To Kill a Mockingbird (Paperback)

Customer Review

The book begins like the childhood story of a little girl in a small town in Alabama 30s In one type of expensive American narrative, she recounts her daily life, presents the people around him, some eccentric , and gives us different stories.

But after a while, the novel acquires a different dimension and a different story stands out: that the trial of a black defendant of rape and the father of the narrator, a lawyer has agreed to defend. And this part is revealed exciting.

Finally, what I found at first only be a banal story 'folk' US gradually reached classic status of American literature.
