Chingy's return to DTP

After three years in which Ludacris and Chingy went their separate ways, said rapper from St. Louis now returns with his new album "Hate It Or Love It" on Disturbing Tha Peace Records. Besides Labelboss Luda Chingy grab here even stars like R'n'B beauty Amerie, Bobby Valentino, Rick Ross or Trey Songz under the arms. The whole produced by lesser known people who wear it under another name like The costars, LT Moe or The Ghost Writer, only Cool & Dre are of little bekannterem caliber. "Hate It Or Love It" was actually just like all the older albums of Chingy: a few hits, but also some really bad, but almost just average. The first single "Fly Like Me" is now already a little longer and there is likely one or the other therefore certainly be a household name. It is a beautiful and quiet number, good raps in Chingy on the chill instrumental and as icing on the cake still the great sung chorus of Amerie dazubekommt why the song is without doubt among the highlights of this disc. The track "Gimme Dat" Chingy played a together with its DTP colleagues Ludacris and Bobby Valentino. Despite the star-banns I can with this song not particularly make friends because of the beat but very "specially" and is therefore one can go pretty fast on my nerves. Since it does not have much that Luda and Chingy do their best and actually lie down a good performance. Much better is because title track "Hate It Or Love It", a lot of hard with a lot of Dirty South-influence, in which Chingy can shine with its relatively aggressive Rhymes. "Check My Swag" is also from the slightly harder and dark varieties and therefore like it very much. Another pretty cool number is "Spend Some $" with Trey Songz. The instrumental is medium fast and uses funky electric sounds that pull in the background to Chingy's class appearance with an unusually harsh voice, the listener in its spell. That feature Trey Songz, however, the best part of the song here already understood almost by itself. That Chingy can do something more serious and more profound music, shows us with "How We Feel". The soft beat was underlaid with a really nice guitar melody that goes in a like warm butter. Again Chingy rhymt quite good, but asked a second time by his guest, in this case of Anthony Hamilton and his unique voice, something in the shadows. The highlight of the album comes with "Roll On 'Em" almost the very end. It is yet another midtempo song, but tidy gaining energy through the slightly harder beat and dynamic piano playing. These perform Chingy but especially Rick Ross really good and make it thus to my absolute favorites of "Hate It Or Love It". The rest is, as already indicated, not necessarily exactly brilliant. Only the rapid and exceptional "All Aboard (Let's Ride)" still says to me. The other songs are either a bit boring or even annoying. In summary, one can say that Chingy has met the expectations safe because he has never been and will probably not even change a truly great album. "Hate It Or Love It" has certainly some useful tracks, as well as some that has not become so special. Fans from the man from STL will certainly have their delight at the plate, all others should better check it out beforehand.
