What do I use the device: lawn edging (weekly), boxwood hedge trimming (2x per year) On a cheap no name product I wanted to do without, because I already defects (battery performance, load times, processing, cutting capacity) have come in the circle to the ears. For this reason I have decided for the device with the powerful 10.8 V lithium-ion battery. I have not looked back. The average performance (hedge trimming with the long 200 mm diameter) pleasantly surprised me. This force I did not expect from a battery-powered device. The lawn edging is a breeze for the device. After each use, I clean the knife with water, dry them off and spray it with some penetrating oil (Here I use not the BOSCH care spray because there are cheaper good products commercially well.) A. This keeps the blade smooth and corrosion-resistant. For smaller gardening This wireless device is recommended.
Why did I only awarded 4 out of 5 stars: Even though I'm not yet come to the battery power limit, I would have liked the option of changing batteries. Unfortunately, the battery in the unit is permanently installed.
