The device does what it is intended; and that makes it very good. We use it in practice, in order to transmit the data of a PC-ECG with USB port on the network (the PC ECG has no separate power supply in addition to USB). The previous attempt, by means of a USB hub and USB network extension (over Cat 7) to transmit the data failed. The Silex, however, was successfully installed in 5 minutes. Highly recommended.
