Take heed! There are counterfeit Sony Memory Stick Pro-HG Duo, and this is one of them that I bought unknowingly via a seller on Amazon.com. The logo and printed on these cards are almost identical to genuine Sony cards. But once in a Sony device (this is the case at least for a HANDYCAM HDR-CX550), it detects the wrong card and will remind you with a visual and audio message each time you want to use your device; This is very unpleasant and all the more frustrating given the fact that Sony wanted to acquire a real card. Watch out: if you buy via internet and receive a so-called Sony card but that the latter is not in original packaging with a SONY hologram, you most likely charge a counterfeit card. This may work correctly in several brands of devices, but Sony equipment mean you emphatically that the coupling with this card is risky! Is it a way to force the exclusive purchase cards from the same manufacturer?
