- No problem, for example, at SONY MDR Z-1000 (but may at the earpiece of course not be screwed, the union nut is missing yes).
- Works just case very well on the new Philips Fidelio X1.
- Sennheiser HD 485, HD 465, HD 435: The plug does not fit due to the thickness of the metallic sleeve is too thick
The sleeve can be unscrewed but, in fact she's just a "dummy", since the solder joints are completely covered and sealed.
The actual connection (cable / plug) is so firmly "shed". The sleeve is just a dummy and actually has no function, so it does not act as a strain relief, it stabilizes the plug if at all only insofar as they prevent lateral bending with moderate force.
Gold plated contacts.
The sound quality is not bad, very good for the money (the Z-1000 has an extremely good sounding cable, so I can compare). The figure acts with the same bass a little less well resolved and a ticking closer in the picture.
The cable is mediocre thick and medium difficult. More than 3m with a headphone connection may no longer be recommended.
For headphones with these limitations, otherwise thoroughly recommended as a normal 3.5-jack connection - not at all "cheap" made.
Reasonably anticipated to be low-cost alternative to NoName-Oehlbach i-Connect (I did).
Update: The 2m-variant also risen - properly, no complaint in form and function.
