I tested snowshoeing on the Stockhorn (CH) the Atlas Pinnacle II and Atlas Spindrift. At Spindrift I noticed positive: - The claws frame reduces lateral slip and provides better grip in icy snow and downhill as the Pinnacle. - Both snowshoe models offer an excellent walking comfort and flexibility in the joint; the bond is more comfortable than the Pinnacle at Spindrift. - Both snowshoe models have a climbing aid, which can be folded back again to the floor. In contrast to the Pinnacle of the tail of the Spindrift hurls snow. Conclusion. For alpine snowshoe hikes of Spindrift by the claws framework is clearly superior to the Pinnacle. Both snowshoe models are well suited for backcountry snowshoeing.
