I read in French, so as the original was written in Polish, my mother tongue and I still remember very well! Cétais just to see how I'll enjoy (or not) the translation and especially to "feel" the image of Poland presented in the book. I am not disappointed! Many of elements typically Polish (dishes, habits, names of places, streets), but also the description of Poland and Poles of today and during the communist period. If you polonophile, if you are interested a little (or a lot) to Poland and more, you like good thrillers (good plot, intelligent running and the surprising denouement) this book is for you!
