The taillights were delivered well packed in the mail. On the box is again the fact that this approved thanks E-mark on German roads. The carton holds only the rear lights with wiring harness and resistors, other documents or installation instructions are not included. After a long search, I then discovered the E-mark. They are almost invisible embossed directly on the insides of the lamps. Thus the sheeting so is here in Germany not in the way. The installation is very simple, which fit well. Thanks to the resistors nothing at BCM must be flashed.
See the rear lights into red / smoke class, fit fine for Carbon Steel Grey Metallic my GTI. The Volkswagen Genuine tail lights (red tinted without LED), however, look very red, then the rear view clay is therefore in tone. Tail and brake light and turn signals are in LED.
Dectane has produced here an all chic tail lamp at a good price.
