I did not know or little the Fatal Picards, and the name of Olivier Delafosse (or Oldelaf) was unknown to me until then. And like many people, I saw the video for this very funny song called "Coffee". Being the type to know what I want, the next day I headed to a store with two CDs under his arm. The second, it therefore seems to me to be clearly the most accomplished of the two (that said the first was already very good). Apart Café, I am particularly a fan of "3 Colors" and especially énormissime "Rue de Nantes". Obviously "Nathalie" is a must, really good apart "Soft" I loved everything in this album. Note that the first Mr. D (Frédéric Sheets) was replaced after the first album by Frédéric Vaysse, which is really a Mr. D kick but good.
And if you are lucky enough to live in the Paris area, go see them live, the atmosphere is great (lots of mini sketches, and the third thief, Firmin is also funny that his two accomplices) and more now they sing new songs, probably a taste of their third album, which already promises to great.
