Why?
The bunk beds in the army were once more like a hammock, so I always got back pain - to me the garrison physician a door !!!! prescribed that I could put under the mattress. From then never again slept back pain and perfect.
Since I know how happy I sleep hard. Normal bed frames I never felt (despite various adjustment options) optimally and hard enough - and correspondingly large was my interest in the Roll-Up Grille.
At Amazon, I had now found this Slats - for not even 10 / piece.
Based on the information you could even come as a notional layman that the distances between the individual slats "too great" are.
Who knows informed commercially, that the distance between the individual slats no more than should be 5cm (otherwise "hangs" between the mattress by) and also for the sake of stability make great distances more problems (risk of breakage).
Accordingly, I've just bought two.
The slats are connected to a belt (simply stapled) and I put both grids into one another, so that the distances now only be about 3-4cm. With a borrowed Tacker I stapled the slats of a grate to the tapes of the other. Voila - done.
Since nothing turns and only small gaps between the grates.
Now I have not for 25 time (4.90 in shipping provider "Homeline1") perfect for me slatted.
Two more notes:
- The length of the roller grate is 200cm, but only 195cm (which should nowhere be a problem).
- The wooden slats of completely untreated (= great!) Seems to me.
If someone asks why I have chosen to do so, and not for a door.
The reason is simple: Every mattress must be able to ventilate (= gaps between the slats), so that a door is less than optimal. For a few weeks of basic training in the army I did not care - my mattress at home but it should have optimal ;-)
