I had the pre-predecessor model from TP-Link Archer C9. Therefore, I have now decided to use the Archer C9. The wireless router from TP-LINK I like basically, because the installation and setup of a secure wireless network relatively easy going. Like here at Archer C9. The router comes with a good English-language pictures Quick Start Guide and a somewhat more detailed German instruction in the form of a small booklet. But here is already the only problem during installation of the router. The German description refers to the establishment of an "own" wireless password on the website: [...] This website no longer exists but. That can quickly lead to confusion. Is on the English-language pictures Quick Start Guide for fact already the new TP-Link-page: [...] indicated. The detailed operating instructions in German also also refers to the model C8 Archer. Therefore, it would be nice to lay by the company TP-Link as soon as possible also a current and appropriate German manual for the C9 Archer in the box.
The Archer C9 is basically already delivered with a wireless password. The password can be found on the back of the router. The installation, if you follow the steps going really fast and without problems otherwise.
The design and color of the router is now like almost everything, in typical Apple white style. But I like this style and you can set up the router. The parts on the router are well made, as far as I can tell. Compared to my old TP-LINK wireless router also not all LEDs flash alternately, but remain at Archer C9 solid blue.
Noticed really positive is that I can operate more WLAN devices without problems in my apartment with the Archer C9.
My Toshiba flat screen TV I have connected via LAN cable to the router. But as I see no major differences between my old router and the new, when I watch YouTube videos on your TV.
The strength of the Archer C9 is for me personally more in WLAN. I find the router in any case well.
