NYC Man 1967-2003 (CD)

Customer Review

This is a great compilation cd 2 extremely generous (79 '+ 77'). I discovered many unknown titles from unsung albums. We also find there, it's normal, rare artist's success. One can blame new mixes, made by L. Reed himself. Fortunately there are very few of Velvet titles, not because they are bad, of course, but it is a compilation 'L. Reed! Cover notes are excellent (L. Reed, himself, yet). The artist did not hesitate to include very long titles (9 or 11 min) and some less easily accessible (no wonder, lack of public success!). The chronological order is not respected, and for once this does not seem to me at all annoying: we understand the coherence of the work. Finally, the live versions of some titles offer much interesting versions. And now I'd like to see, or hear again, some albums (forgotten or forsaken, me!)
