My positive / negative points:
+ Really spacious when installing branches / climbing toys etc. correctly, a bird can be quite time flying from one side to another - is not possible in a commercially available higher-than-wide cage in this price range
+ Solid, big, still little weight
+ Price
+ Acts on my black chest like a piece of furniture, not like a cage ;-)
+ Birds feel obviously well
- The bars are on the front and back angles and not cross until five struts, ie climbing as usual is not possible to slip from Wellis: Too bad !! Without a few branches o. Ä. On the front, the birds can only fly to the cage door, not hinklettern. The same of course inside rumklettern goes unaided only on the two sides.
- The frame and vertical bars to prevent the birds just so can shimmy from top to bottom.
- Painting the black bars is something suspicious. When the cage door, which was a bit strict to open, the paint came off quite quickly and I do not hope that after the first Knabberversuchen land toxic paint residues in the stomachs of budgies! Here I have the most concerns!
- The white paint of the frame actually smelled something strictly, here too I hope that no toxic substances were used!
- The four white rods that came are kidding us probably be regarded more as a decoration.
- / + The floor trough is really the floor when I pull out, the cage is open at the bottom, so no slot. Has advantages and disadvantages.
For the price so really ok, except for the painting - I'll have to watch - I'm happy.
Addendum 13.09.2012: My concerns wg. the painting were probably unfounded, but the Wellis have very added to the wooden frame in some places, and because they make the most of the outside, he is not as nice to look at.
