What's that, BioWare?

Anticipation, really bad Dragon Age 2 is not. But as lanjähriger BioWare fan of the old Baldur's gate times came in DA2 actually only one question:
This is the second part of Dragon Age be?
Even the entry-level: The character creation is limited to sex and appearance. OK, we must choose between mage, rogue and warrior. But make the character really the alter ego? No chance to avoid just like the tube each level Explore the "world" makes this the very limited character development impossible, coupled with the poor for BioWare NPC interaction. No group camp, the group is spread all over the city and interact with or between the NPC give it as ... Quest ?? WTF? One gets the impression BioWare had read a guide entitled "How do I make a good play worse in the 2nd part". There are not even more social or rhetorical attributes that would affect the group psyche or the selection within the dialogues - everything revolves around Battle stats, DA2 is more a hack & slay with history as an RPG.
The dialogue system: icons that indicate whether you are a good, neutral or bad response. I am 12? Or BioWare takes me no more serious? Otherwise I can not explain this pandering to casual Konolenspieler.
All in all, DA2Dragon Age II (uncut) has dramatic heights, as well as many depths. A castrated Dragon Age, a Hack & Slay full action focus in guise of an epic BioWare RPGs. Too bad that the BioWare magic seems finally dissipated.
The hope remains that Bethesda and CD project does not follow this path.
