HDD TOP, packaging disastrous

I agree with previous speakers only. The hard drive is fast, huge and what was important to me "cool". Have compared to 1.5TB Seagate good 10 ° C less.
What is very important to me in my Silent PC because of the rather low aeration. In addition, it is also significantly quieter, and I "old" Sengate've felt as quietly, but the WD is really silent.
3TB I partitioned into 4 parts and use them only as a data store. My system boots from an Intel SSD. Can not say if it works or not so at the moment.

Even the info: Use the plate at Marvel controller of ASUS P8-P67 with an Intel Core i5 with 8GB RAM (also from Amazon).

Why did I but decided to write a review is the fact that Amazon (as actually correctly described) sent in original packaging. Ie at the BULK plate but in a 2mm thick cardboard, which is just as big as the plate itself, and is the only buffer between plate.
For me totally inadequate, which in my case also led to the first plate had a "dip". The replacement disk was better packaged (after my complaint) and ran, as described above, without any problems.
Therefore always check optical state and hope that the transport does not harm the longevity!
