Through a Test in c't magazine I BITN the blanks hear. I ordered the 25er Spindel immediately and have been really surprised again! I use the Plextor PX-16UF with the current to the present time firmware 1:04. and Plextools 2.19a. In c't has tested it with the previous version. One Vorneweg: I burn all DVD's only 12x because my external hard drives via USB can not provide data faster 2.0. In rapid test 'Q-Check TA Test' come the blanks mostly on "Good", which is nothing ausergewöhnlich good / bad, here is the compatibility of the "pits and lands" to the DVD specifications measured. However Plextools not seem here to accurately measure, sometimes the result varies in multiple measurements. My movie DVD's have several players and PC drives play immediately, even reading a Pioneer actually only DVD-R. My DVD player (Pioneer 575) reads the discs, an extremely fast, Really 0 problems with compatibility. Really good, the blanks are in the error rate: When 'Q-Check PI / PO test' with 8Sum the real error in a sector can be measured on the disc. I have at 8 rand full DVDs never exceeded the 18er error mark (noisy Spezifukation must be 280 errors in the sector have), the average is much lower total of I always betw. 48,000 and 50,000 errors. In other blanks to get loose over 1.5 million. I have now regained new spindles and the quality seems to have improved again. The maximum error leigen only at 10 per sector and total of one comes to about 12,000 errors! P> In the 'Q-Check Beta / Jitter Test' (distance from the norm) is achieved top results. The curve is almost always optimal. Considering now that these blanks are still scratch-resistant, can you ask for a better product. I was long skeptical about data security on DVD media and have been archived my data to external hard drives. Now I switched, have my already burned DVD's again archived on Verbatim and have the next batch already ordered (hopefully there these blanks soon in the 50-pack Spindle !!). Greeting, Fredrik
