I have done a few small tests under Windows8.1, while I have the stick observed when copying and also always different formats (FAT, exFAT and NTFS).
Basically, I noticed that there was no difference in the write speed in the three formats.
There was a difference but very comfortable with the use of USB2.0 and USB3.0
Each file, usually either 3GB .iso or many small files, has behaved as follows:
Initially (first 10 seconds), the data rate was very high, even over 100MB / s. But then, it has declined rapidly:
With USB2.0: 11 MB / s
With USB3.0: 17 MB / s
It was interesting that the write rate always jumping around with + -0,5MB, well maybe that's normal.
Conclusion:
If you do not need high-speed data rates, you can calm down the stick. A copy speed of 17MB / s in my opinion is not so bad for the price and the posted speed only 15MB / s, this is the stick really very small and handy, almost surprised me, thought it would larger. Faster drives are also usually larger and fit and do not fit so well on the keychain, so this drive is worth its investment. And if it is broken once, there is a 24M warranty, this one should always also save their data elsewhere.
