Missed opportunity to really something great.

First off, the positives first: Some pieces are really great compositions and coming in the full version so really to bear: there is even the nearly 12 minute version of Felicidad, who built great solos and a very horny rhythm has - a real dance Feger! Or then African Moon; a reggae tracks with a beautiful guitar solo. Also nice that Homeland Africa (Ship Ahoy) was packed into an early version of the compilation. Not to mention the mysterious Boonoonoonoos - probably one of the best Boney M songs ever. But then begs the question: humanity needs the horrible Malaika in a long version? For me this is more than you can cope with and there is only one solution: skipping! Malaika is still topped with the unspeakably zusammnengeschnippselten concoction Farians entitled "6 Years of Boney M" - a 11 minute, bordering on torture hodgepodge of Boney M songs. It started so as "Stars on 45" started with these Megamixes because Farian had to follow suit and since then does not let him get rid of the Mega-Mix Mania. Every few years back then comes back as a Megamix from Farians plate cuisine. You've guessed it, are in most of these Megamixes's only one thing: skipping! A very, very bad work is the babysitter written by Farian, which is attached to this compilation. Portions of this track (the baby laughter) wandered in the Happy Song two years later. Recall with goosebumps.

If one looks through the list so falls on that even more songs by the talented Marcia Barrett missing - as in all compilations of recent years. Here among fan circles haunts around an early, longer version of We Kill The World, which is a longer verse (Oceans in despair ...) and also a partially other Arrangement. One would also enrich the Compilation with alternative versions such as "Train To Skaville" where Maizie Williams their first but probably last vocal contribution for a Boney M album could have put (the lascivious ska, ska, ska ska Jamaica) that was then replaced by the trivial "Solo" by Liz Mitchell. One wonders also why Silly Confusion of a 7-minute album version was shortened (to Boonoonoonoos) on a 4 minute version mitpackt on this CD? What is somehow no sense, right?

For me, this compilation, even if the idea is commendable, even a stale rehash of ordinary, little sexy. Pity! For Frank Farian Boney M is he and Liz Mitchell, whose qualities you can argue. For many fans, but it was the whole group made up the magic of Boney M. And does not meet this compilation.
