The Imperial V-Wing Starfighter can be easily and quickly assembled. Unlike its predecessor from the LEGO Set 6205, this version looks sleeker, the new cockpit shape and the long snout. In addition, the new V-Wing has a black and gray design, spiced up by 6 stickers (including a great sticker for the spaceship snout) and than be the gray-red predecessor little longer. Splashes of color are only two neon yellow discs at the rear, which represent the drive. A rotating mechanism can both wings that also are foldable regain possession, turn it 90 degrees, so as to switch between flying and landing modes. That works just fine without the wings fold back on itself. The entire starfighter is not directly on the ground, but "floats" as it were through a transparent LEGO part in the air. Will you give up, you have to make up the wings and each wing bend the lower section. Only then the V-Wing just lying on the ground. Otherwise either the wing tips or the four laser cannons him gently lift upwards. The pilot takes the hinged cockpit place where there is unfortunately not a "steering wheel" nor a console or the like. Apparently rigor in the imperial troops ...
Two (new) LEGO figures are included in the set: An Imperial pilot and astromech droid R2-Q2 of. The black pilot figure is designed in detail, the torso front and back printed. The head is not just black, but also printed. Armed is the pilot with a laser gun. Support while maneuvering the V-wing he receives through the gray-silver R2-Q2 unit, also with detailed print. The droid can be used partially on board the spaceship by the "head" is taken from the torso and placed on the V-wing. Then, however, the rest of the droid must remain.
Overall, a good set (cool designs, new figures) with small weaknesses (lack of cockpit equipment, stickers, high price).
