This was my second album by Keith Jarrett after I was inevitably pushed the mid-80s to the "Köln Concert" and I was there at that time already more excited than his well-selling disc. The question of which concert is better I want to dodge and refer to the each individual taste. Bregenz is mE very entertaining, exciting, a total of more varied and already takes echoes of classic phrases that Jarrett in the later concerts so much effort (s) in advance. The fact that the majority of the album is dimensioned rather short, I consider very beneficial for the course of the music, although Jarrett (or the thread) sometimes may lose in the recent shorter divided concerts. Generally, one can probably not expect that all solo concerts, which can accommodate Jarrett same type and quality meet (especially not the one that did not appear on CD - negative examples are here Berlin and Zurich 2009). However Bregenz is definitely one of the most outstanding concerts.
