I use the device via Wi-Fi connection and prints only occasionally. In a 3/4 year less than a hundred pages; mostly just text and in Eco mode, which may be classified as a joke in the face of the ink consumption.
Before each print pumps, rolls (and I still do not know) the thing sometimes more than a minute and hurls the ink out just so.
After the few printouts of which were certainly more than 95% text printing - S / W, of course - are magenta and cyan empty, yellow as good as and in the black cartridges is soon a replacement to.
Unfortunately, the trick does not turn off the unit and always be in standby helps not.
In effect, that means approximately 100-150 pages (in the so-called Eco-mode) for 61, - if you take original cartridges.
Thank you Canon!
