A handy little device that comes with small Käbelchen / adapters. I needed only stuck for an IDE hard drive (old 80) the main element directly into the panel and the power supply to plug directly into the hard drive. This works very well! The unit light on a thick round surface (see picture) on blue. Mag many to be too light, but I think it's cool. The other "points" that can be seen are lights which show the relevant connections: USB, IDE, SATA. What does not work directly connect an extensive DVD drive, because while in hard drives slots for jumpers between power and data connection are, this element is to DVD drives left of the data connection, so that the right of it right comes the electricity, the partly concealed is. IDE hard drives OK, DVD drives with adapter (thereby). SATA I could not try, because I have only moment I built. I would buy the device anyway again. Old IDE hard drives are quickly connected times - DVD drives via adapter.
One can see in the photo: USB mini port (cable armlanges here), power connector adapter with SATA and IDE connector. Above: Large Power Light, USB, IDE / ACT, SATA Not visible side: A SATA cable connector DVD drives can be used with an adapter (or small extension ribbon cable) also used. One looks to the IDE connector and rear is the counterpart in Klein. Floppy drive ???
