In terms of buttons, they are neither noisy nor quiet. The lovely roulette that one hardly hears when she turns. It changes my old HP mice, roulette making a hellish din. The buttons "next page, previous page" are very well placed. Again it changes the old, too high buttons. Excellent laser precision on a carpet. (Precision without the bad carpets, on my wooden desk, but just to put one and this mouse is perfect for use as I have).
